Autumn Equinox Retreat

Winter Solstice Retreat (Online)

Monday 21st December 7-8.45pm 

The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year—the darkest moment before the light slowly begins its return. This mini retreat, held online, is all about deep rest and turning inward. We will honour the sacred pause that winter offers, allowing ourselves to be still, to restore, and to trust in the quiet darkness before raising again in Spring.

Seasonal Yoga Session

Each seasonal yoga class is tailored to the unique energy of that time of year—from spring's awakening to winter's deep rest. We work with the body in ways that honour the season's wisdom, creating space for what needs to emerge or release. Accessible to all, no matter your experience, age, or any conditions you may have. Gentle modifications offered throughout.

Good Vibrations Voice and Sound Healing.

oga teacher, professional opera singer and voice coach, Kim Sheehan guides you through her award-winning Good Vibrations session. This transformative experience includes vocal and breath work with seasonal mantras designed to reconnect you with your authentic voice. No previous experience necessary—you absolutely do not need to be a good singer!

 A Seasonal Meal

A delicious and healthy seasonal meal is provided at each retreat. All food is vegetarian. The lunch includes a nourishing main meal, seasonal dessert, and herbal teas. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements and we'll ensure your meal is perfect for you.

Yoga and Sound session

A bespoke movement and sound sequence is created tailored to each season's unique energy and intention. Embrace the dance of breath and voice as we weave gentle and accessible yoga postures together. This flowing journey helps you embody the season—re-awakening, reconnecting, and releasing. No experience necessary, just an open heart.

Restorative Yoga and Seasonal Yoga Nidra

As the afternoon unfolds, ease into nurturing yoga poses that melt away tension. Gradually drift into the profound healing space of seasonal yoga Nidra—a practice of conscious relaxation that renews body, mind, and spirit. Let go, surrender, and experience total tranquility as your body integrates the day's gifts.

Immersive Sound Bath 

The day will end with an immersive and deeply restorative seasonal sound experience crafted uniquely for this moment. Kim weaves her enchanting voice, resonant crystal singing bowls, and carefully chosen instruments into a sonic landscape that invites profound relaxation and inner peace. Lie back, close your eyes, and let the vibrations wash over you—healing, realigning, and renewing your entire being.

About Us...

Hana has been teaching Yoga for over 17 years as her full time occupation. She originally trained and danced professionally before coming to Yoga teaching which influences some of her approach in terms of somatic movement and flow. Hana merges her knowledge of classical Yoga with the contemporary understanding of the anatomical body. She is passionate about making Yoga accessible to all people including and that yoga can be a powerful tool for in supporting women's health. Hana is a British Wheel of Yoga Teacher Trainer and a senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.

Voice and Sound healing

Kim is a BWY Yoga teacher, professional opera singer, recording artist, Kirtan leader and voice coach with over 23 years experience. Kim has created an award winning programme known as Good Vibrations, which merges voice, movement and mantra to allow for women to reconnect and feel empowered through their voices. Kim will be offering this session on the retreat as well as her beautiful and transcendent sound healing.

What is involved in the sound and voice sessions? I have no previous experience in this.

You do not need any previous experience and you don't need to a 'good singer' It is perfectly fine for complete beginners. Kim will guide you step by step through each sound and mantra. She will use her own voice together with harmonium, drums and singing bowls  to create a beautiful immersion of sound. 

Frequently Asked Questions

What level are the Yoga classes? I am a beginner is this suitable? 

The Yoga and movement sessions are suitable for all. Whether you are new to Yoga or complete beginner, Hana will guide you step by step through each posture, offering modification where needed. 

What should I wear? What do I need to bring with me?

Please wear comfortable clothes that you are able to move freely in. layers are very good as we can adjust if we get warmer or cooler. Warm socks and jumpers are perfect for relaxation element. 
Mats and props provided, but feel free to bring your own. It would also be useful to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. 

I have an injury or a condition that effects my Yoga practice is this retreat still suitable? 

Yes, we will do our upmost to accommodate and modify the postures and practices where needed. There will no be any advanced postures such as inversions and the focus of the Yoga is about moving in a way that suits and benefits your unique body. 

I am pregnant/postnatal, is this still suitable?

Yes, Hana is a qualified pregnancy and postnatal Yoga teacher, so will be happy to help you modify if needed? 

I have food allergies/ special dietary requirements, what would we do about lunch? 

All fees are non refundable. 

What is your cancelation policy? 

No problem at all. Just let us know in advance and we will pass on the info to the caterers to ensure that your lunch will meet your requirements.
